Today I decided not to look for unusual subjects but to take pictures of totally typical everyday things. You can normally find me kneeling or lying in front of some little blossoms or tiptoeing behind some trees, breathing silently and waiting tensely for the right moment to capture a bird. Today I was on eye-level in a little village near my home town. I scrutinized the apartment blocks, looked at the driveways more carefully and enjoyed the atmosphere of the coming spring.
last month I made one of my greatest wishes come true by traveling to a country of which I’d been dreaming for quite some time – VIETNAM!
And I can tell you right away – it is a breathtaking and multi-faceted country that has something for everyone’s taste! From fantastic beaches and high mountain ranges to turbulent cities to small sleepy villages and unique landscapes this country offers everything.
A sunny summer afternoon in the city. Always with me, my camera and my favorite lens, the SIGMA Art 35mm f/1,4 DC HSM.
Sometimes I like to photograph small things and most of the time, exactly those photographs are the most valuable souvenir to me. I’m not a materialistic person and I don’t care about having a bunch of material things. That’s why I value my virtual collection so much. Today I went for a spontaneous expedition through the city and I decided that I take a closer look of things, something I usually don’t do.
