After you read mainly about the SIGMA 24-105mm F4 DG OS HSM | Art, the 50mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art or the SIGMA 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM lenses in the last few weeks and months, today I’d like to get back to the SIGMA 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG OS HSM!

This lens is particularly suitable for portrait, documentary but also wildlife, company and astro-photography.  Some time ago I’ve already tested it outdoors for you, capturing many animals on my lens. I tested it in detail in terms of autofocus, sharpness and speed under normal light conditions outside. For today I’ve come up with a new idea!

Not so long ago I could hold the SIGMA 24-70mm f/2.8 lens in my hands. Of course, I couldn’t resist, grabbed it and walked right to the nearest park. The evening sun was stroking the lush green of the summer trees and the meadows and long-necked colorful flowers were blowing in the soft breeze.

Hey guys,

Today it was time again to grab my camera in spite of the cold weather and dedicate myself to one of my absolutely favorite pastimes. Of course, I’m talking about a photo walk.

The 50mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art is a lens that’s being discussed a lot, both on fotogenerell and in all other media. Besides the 35mm Art lens there’s probably not another lens that’s as popular and so much liked and cherished as this SIGMA lens. It’s not without a reason that you can find SIGMA’s ART series in the camera bags of professionals.

The SIGMA 17-50mm f/2.8 in a warm spring rain

On the fotogenerell blog, the SIGMA 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM lens has often received a lot of positive feedback and in my opinion it is one of SIGMA’s evergreens. And this isn’t the case for no good reason – the all-round lens from SIGMA’s promising Contemporary series guarantees what the manufacturer promises. Compared to many lenses from SIGMA’s premium class, the Art series, the lens is very compact and light, which is why I prefer packing it in as a travel companion with the other heavier lenses. To me this lens has always been more than just a good backup – it has taken many of my favorite pictures.

An espresso, sun and colorful houses

Easter, according to a recent newspaper report, is supposed to be the best season to visit Venice and its little nearby islands. “Venice… First time here?” somebody asked me. No. For another time. But this time only beautiful Venezia wasn’t enough – after the gray winter I was longing for as many colors as possible. That’s why I took the ferryboat to Burano. This island can already be seen from far away. The leaning clock tower and the colorful houses of the tiny village on the island spread their colors into the distance.
