By now probably all of you are familiar with the EISA Award. But just to help you remember: EISA is an association of 53 professional magazines from 25 European countries. The association is mainly known for its award that is given every year.
The editors-in-chief of all EISA membership magazines get together to decide about which products of the previous year are the best and thus deserve the desired award. The award is based on different categories. Before making their decision the jury makes sure that the awarded products combine advanced technology, popular features, attractive design and high quality. The following six categories can be selected: photography, mobile devices, Hi-Fi, home movie audio, home movie display & video and auto-electronics.
This year the SIGMA 14-24mm F2.8 DG HSM | Art received the “EISA DSLR ZOOM LENS 2018-2019” Award. The lens convinced the jury with its light intensity and its ultra-far-angle zoom. It has a high degree of sharpness performance basically without linear distortion and almost devoid of chromatic aberration. Beyond this, the lens is dust- and splash-proof, which makes it a great travel companion.
