The winner of the renowned photo competition “Wildlife Photographer of the Year”, which will be organized for the 52nd time this year by London’s Natural History Museum, won’t be announced before October – however, we can enjoy some pictures that have already been published!
The famous award was already founded in 1965 by the BBC Wildlife Magazine, but it wasn’t before the year 1984 that the museum participated. In that year photographers from all around the world submitted almost 50,000 photos. On October 21st the exhibition which accompanies the contest will take place in the museum. There the visitors won’t only get the chance to see the winning image but they can also admire 100 selected images in total.
