Friday morning. You know that feeling? That incredibly good weekend feeling you get in spite of the working day that’s still ahead? When suddenly all the stress is gone and you can start your day completely relaxed?
That’s the way I was feeling today.
The sun was shining through the leaves of the trees in the garden that were blowing in the wind and the air is still fresh after some cool rainy days. And I cuddled up on my cozy sofa in the conservatory with freshly made banana milk, blueberries and a steamy cup of black, good smelling coffee, with some music and some travel books for this summer.
And folks… I’ve got to tell you something else. I’ve fallen in love. For a couple of days I can’t stand life anymore without my new lens. I just can’t stop taking pictures. My camera batteries are permanently empty since I finally bought the SIGMA Art 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM lens. After reading the many positive reviews I became so thrilled whether it could fulfill my expectations. And this lens really can! I’m overwhelmed and can’t stop dreaming of this incredibly beautiful depth of field, of the perfect open aperture and the brilliantly sharp photos.
So for this weekend I can’t expect a lot anymore as I’m planning to thoroughly test the lens under different lighting conditions, with different subjects and at different times of the day in order to tell you about it next week in my personal test review. I’m already looking forward to telling you more soon!
In the meantime you can take a look for yourselves at the first photo results I’d like to show you, taken during a relaxing breakfast with the SIGMA Art 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM lens. Enjoy watching!… and – I wish you all a really nice summer weekend!
