A few weeks ago, one of my readers asked me to upload some DP3M-photos in full size (15MP). Instead of just following this one request, I took some brick wall photos with the DP3M as well as with the DP2M, and additionally uploaded the most interesting photos I took so far with both cameras in full size. The lens of the DP2M is renowned for its sharpness and resolution, so it was reasonable to let the 50mm of the DP3M run against the first rate normal focal length.
First of all, let’s turn our attention to the brick wall photos, which I took from a tripod with both cameras. I made an effort to make the cuts as resembling as possible. Just click at the pictures to get to Flickr, then click on the horizontal dots and select “Show all sizes”. Then click on “original”. Et voila! 🙂
Next, photos at closest focusing distance. What immediately strikes the eye is the much better macro-applicability of the DP3M.
Let’s carry on with older pictures in full size. Especially the cats appear to be quite popular on Flickr.
And finally some new ones with the DP3M. In full size as well.
I hope this was helpful for one or the other of you.
