Just recently, I came across some pictures that were shot wide open in daylight. The combination of bokeh and direct sunlight instantly fascinated me. I absolutely needed to simulate the effect. Taking photos in bright light with f1.4 is easier said than done. Even with the SD1, which can go as low as ISO100 and 1/8000, lowering the exposure in PP is necessary in order to get authentic pictures. But it is definitely worth the effort, I totally like the result. I hope you do, too.
Not all pictures were shot with f1.4. With a few of them, I accidentally shifted the aperture to f1.8 or f2.
And another two photos which don’t show any bokeh, but I found the colours and the shadows quite appealing.
