Only recently a friend of mine, who is also interested in photography, told me that a regular use of a single focal length or a single lens can sharpen one’s perception. That is why I dedicated the past few days to explore SD1 and Sigma 10-20 f/3.5. As far as I remember, I have never been a big fan of ultra wide angle lenses, but that changed a couple of months ago. The perspective distortion at 10mm can result in some very cool effects, however you first have to learn how to deal with this challenging focal length, which is easier said than done.
I gave up checking whether lines in my pictures are straight or not long time ago and I actually prefer to experiment.
Neither is it easy to keep undesirable content out of the picture.
Below you can see some of my photographs which in my opinion turned out to be pretty good. I hope you like them.
